Exciting Guest and Context

Next week I will release my episode with writing legend Steven Pressfield, a guest I've wanted to record with since before even starting the show. I first reached out to his team in April of 2021 and got the chance to email him directly in October of 2022 - that initial outreach is below.

To make the saga behind bringing this episode to life even more hilarious, the conversation you will hear was our second take - recorded earlier in October. Our first recording was done in August but the audio turned out to not be usable.

It was a good test and reminder to focus on the process, not the outcomes.

Pressfield often quotes that Bhagavad Gita: “We have the rights to our labor, but not the fruits of our labor". We had a chance to live that wisdom.
