Carl Sherman has been a friend of mine for several years now. He started his career in business, serving as a CEO of electronic payments company that navigated several mergers and went public on US and foreign exchanges before becoming the mayor of a municipality in DFW and ascending to the Texas House of Representatives. He is now a candidate in the primaries for US Senate.
What I enjoyed about this episode is Carl’s appreciation for leadership as a calling and what we can learn about leading in different arenas. See below for the top takeaways.
